STING IN CONCERT

Sting presents his acclaimed world tour “STING 3.0”. Accompanied by virtuoso guitarist and longtime collaborator Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas (Mumford & Sons, Maggie Rogers), the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy Sting performing his most electrifying songs and some rarities from his timeless discography.

Sting, whose real name is Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, was born on October 2, 1951 in Wallsend, Northumberland, England. He is a British musician, singer, songwriter, and actor known for being the frontman and vocalist of the famous rock band The Police.

In 1985, Sting began his solo career and has since released several highly successful albums. He has also been known for his live concerts around the world, where he has delighted his fans with his music and his stage presence.

Sting has also been recognized for his humanitarian efforts and political activism, including his participation in the Live Aid concert in 1985 and his support of the campaign against apartheid in South Africa.

Some of the most important and outstanding albums of his solo career are the following:

  • "The Dream of the Blue Turtles" (1985): It was his first solo album after leaving The Police. The album was a huge commercial success and contains songs like "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free" and "Fortress Around Your Heart".
  • "Nothing Like the Sun" (1987): It was also a huge commercial success and featured some of his biggest hits like "Englishman in New York" and "Fragile."
  • "Ten Summoner's Tales" (1993): This album won a Grammy Award and featured hits like "If I Ever Lose My Faith in You" and "Fields of Gold."
  • "Brand New Day" (1999): With this album he won several Grammy Awards, it contained songs like "Desert Rose" and "Brand New Day".
  • "Sacred Love" (2003): On this album he collaborated with artists such as Mary J. Blige and Anoushka Shankar and it was very well received by critics.
