STING EN CONCERT

Sting presenta la seva aclamada gira mundial “STING 3.0”. Acompanyat pel virtuós guitarrista i col·laborador de llarg recorregut Dominic Miller i el bateria Chris Maas (Mumford & Sons, Maggie Rogers), el públic tindrà l'oportunitat de gaudir de Sting interpretant els temes més electritzants i algunes rareses de la seva atemporal discografia.

MÉS SOBRE STING

Sting, el veritable nom del qual és Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, va néixer el 2 d'octubre de 1951 a Wallsend, Northumberland, Anglaterra. És un músic, cantant, compositor i actor britànic conegut per ser el líder i vocalista de la coneguda banda de rock The Police.

El 1985, Sting va començar la seva carrera en solitari i des de llavors ha llançat diversos àlbums de gran èxit. També ha estat conegut pels seus concerts en viu a tot el món, on ha delectat els seus fans amb la seva música i la seva presència a l'escenari.

Sting també ha estat reconegut pels seus esforços humanitaris i activisme polític, incloent la seva participació al concert Live Aid el 1985 i el seu suport a la campanya contra l'apartheid a Sud-àfrica.

Alguns dels discos més importants i destacats de la seva carrera en solitari són els següents:

  • "The Dream of the Blue Turtles" (1985): Va ser el seu primer àlbum en solitari després de deixar The Police. L'àlbum va ser un gran èxit comercial i conté cançons com "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free" i "Fortress Around Your Heart".
  • "Nothing Like the Sun" (1987): També va ser un gran èxit comercial i va presentar alguns dels seus majors èxits com "Englishman in New York" i "Fragile".
  • "Ten Summoner's Tales" (1993): Aquest àlbum va guanyar un premi Grammy i va presentar èxits com "If I Ever Lose My Faith in You" i "Fields of Gold".
