Mediterranean Games - Rowing tickets

Consult here the fixed timetable for every sports competition and the confirmed calendar for the Mediterranean Games.

Modern rowing is a water sport that consists in the propelling of a boat using oars as a lever. It has two events: fixed seat rowing and sliding seat rowing.

Rowing was first used as a means of transport in ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. As a sport, it probably has its origin in England, in the early 18th century, with the Oxford-Cambridge regatta.

This sports discipline joined the Mediterranean Games in 1951 in Alexandria (Egypt).
