Mediterranean Games - Archery tickets

Archery is a sport that involves shooting arrows at a target for accuracy from a set distance or distances. It can be practised in:

- Tournaments consisting in rounds of shots from different distances at fixed targets (the size of targets can be about 122, 80 and 40cm for example).

- Circuit tournaments aiming at different targets.

- Tournaments at targets with shapes (for example, animal shapes).

Archery was introduced in the Mediterranean Games celebrated in İzmir (Turkey) in 1971.
