About Ticketmaster.es
At the end of 2006, Ticketmaster acquired Tick Tack Ticket, a company that was founded in Barcelona in 1995 and that is a leader in computerised box office management and advance ticket sales. Since then, the company has managed ticket sales and distribution for the most prestigious concerts and festivals nationally and internationally: Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, U2, The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Metallica, The Police, Sónar Festival, the International Benicassim Festival, and more. Non-musical events include bullfighting, basketball games, funfairs, aquariums and theme parks (such as PortAventura, the Warner Bros Park in Madrid etc.).
In 2007, among more than 5 million tickets sold, 2,500,000 were sold in advance, and more than 4,000 events were managed.
